World Book Day 2021

This year, on its 24th Year, World Book Day was very different. Due to Coronavirus restrictions students were working from home and all plans and activities had to be completed online. Staff had to adapt to make sure that the powerful positive message about books and reading portrayed during World Book Day shone through, even in lockdown.
We were thrilled to celebrate World Book Day remotely at Denbigh and share its joy with our students and their families.

Within school a Creative Writing Inter House Competition was held with students required to write a page of A4 of a story that explored ‘An Unsolved Mystery’. The entries were all very creative. As well as this the trust held a 500 Word Story Writing Competition on the themes of either: Hope, Freedom or Aspirations. This competition was especially exciting as the prize was an amazon voucher!

Well done to those students that entered the competitions, we hope you enjoyed celebrating World Book Day 2021!
