Silver Award Afternoon Tea
Earlier this year we were delighted to announce that our Director of Technology for Learning, Mrs Darcy, had been awarded a Silver Pearson National Teaching Award for Digital Innovator of the Year. On 24th September, Mrs Darcy and Ms Pather had a very special invitation to the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square in London to meet all the other silver award winners from across the country, as well as have a private tour of the world class paintings and other artwork in the National Gallery. It was also an opportunity for Mrs Darcy to have her official Silver Award Winner's photograph taken.
First established in 1998, the National Teaching Awards are an annual celebration of excellence in education, recognising the amazing work of teachers and other school staff across the UK. There are 15 awards categories covering the primary, secondary and FE sectors, open to schools and colleges in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
