COP 26 Orienteering Competition
The Geography department marked the international significance of the COP26 Climate Summit that took place in Glasgow in November with two weeks of house competitions. The activities culminated in an orienteering day where students ”visited” the continents of the world to explore more about the Paris Agreement, COP26 Goals and the Climate Crisis. Turn out was excellent and students teamed up to eagerly compete to be the first to hand in their completed orienteering sheets and make one promise at the pledge tree to reduce the impacts of global warming. Well done to Lords who came first in participation and Wembley who came first in quality of tasks. Do remember to keep up with your pledges!
