A Christmas Carol performed by Year 9
9Dr1 who are at the start of their first year doing Drama at GCSE level, have made a tremendous start. Last half term you will have read a sample of one these student’s artistic intentions for her role in a devised play based on PT Barnum.
This same class are now embarking on an audio acting production of A Christmas Carol. It is no mean task as the focus is on the voice, articulation, diction and tone. It is proving a challenging task but we hope to have more of the same as the year progresses.
This short excerpt for your enjoyment, is the start of the play where Scrooge is visited by his nephew Fred, who wishes only the best for his miserable uncle even inviting him to his own home but Scrooge being a “bah humbug” sort of man will not agree.
