The curriculum at Key Stage 3

When students arrive at Denbigh, they study a number of core curriculum subjects detailed in the table below.

Year 7 includes an induction programme where students learn about our expectations of attitudes to learning and behaviour including how to behave in different social situations. There is also a strong emphasis in year 7 on the teaching of reading, writing, communication and mathematics. The emphasis on these essential skills continues through the time the students spend at Denbigh High School.
