This year’s Summer Fair took place on Saturday 2nd July and was probably one of the best summer fairs in the history of Denbigh high school.
Students, parents, staff, family, friends and local residents from across the ward came to enjoy the sunshine and the wide range of activities on offer.
Local residents also had a chance to meet with Luton Borough Council representatives and raise issues that they feel are important to the local community and there were a tempting array of homemade cakes and snacks on offer.
Some of the activities on the day included a bouncy castle, archery, dance displays, tug of war, face painting and a football tournament.
The students and other young people also very much enjoyed the part where they had the opportunity to throw wet sponges at Mr Douglas in the stocks!
It was a fantastic event and we would like to thank all those who attended and all of the staff, students and family members who contributed towards the day.
