Denbigh Oxbridge success

30 August 2012

We are extremely pleased to announce that for the first time in the history of Denbigh High School, three of our students from the same year group have been offered places at Oxbridge.

Niloy Biswas achieved A* grades in economics, physics, mathematics and further mathematics and will be reading mathematics at St John's College, Oxford.

Sidney Belony achieved A* in history and A grades in English literature and Spanish and a B in French.  She will be reading history at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.

Taslima Hussain achieved A*A*A*A in chemistry, mathematics, further mathematics and biology respectively. Taslima was offered a place at Cambridge but has instead decided to read mathematics at Imperial College London which was her first choice university.

We are very proud of all of these students and we look forward to seeing many others share similar success in the future.
