Visitors from the Anglo Chinese Junior College come to witness Denbigh in action

4 January 2010

In January 2009 Denbigh High School's Executive Principal, Dame Yasmin Bevan visited Singapore as part of an exchange programme that was developed collaboratively between the NCSL and the National Institute of Education in Singapore (NIE).

On Tuesday 1st December 2009 it was the turn of some of the teachers from Singapore to come and visit Denbigh High School.

Our visitors, Ng Swee Pheng, Mahala Sivam, Eka Tanu and Patrick Sum were from the Anglo Chinese Junior College in Singapore.

During their time at Denbigh they took a tour of the school and observed a number of lessons including English, Maths, Science, Media and Drama. They were also particularly interested in the structure of our curriculum and how we use data and target setting to help improve student outcomes.

The visitors thoroughly enjoyed their day at Denbigh High School and went away with lots of interesting observations that they can take back to their own school.
