Technology and the internet will play an integral part in your child’s learning at Denbigh. We pride ourselves on taking a proactive approach to teaching our pupils about E-Safety, and using technology responsibly.

All students are taught about E-safety as part of the ICT curriculum, and additionally through Citizenship activities throughout the year. The school has been accredited with the ICT mark, and the full 360 E-Safety online accreditation. Both of these awards are testament to the fact that E-Safety is considered as both a whole school responsibility, and a priority.

In each year group the Digital Leaders act as peer mentors, and take an active role in the education of others. This is not just in terms of keeping safe online, but understanding how technologies and the internet can be utilised effectively to maximise learning potential.

As a parent you will be invited to attend E-safety workshops, so that you too can take a proactive approach to keeping your child safe online. These sessions are free and held regularly at the school.  If you require a one to one personalised session, the school are happy to oblige.
