Online safety at Denbigh
The library has been busy raising awareness of online safety for young people here at Denbigh. Students took part in online quizzes and surveys, written tasks from The Day, window display tasks, creating notice boards and displays, inter-house poster competitions, and enjoying the new range of books about online safety available in the library now!

‘I really enjoyed the quizzes, and I got 100% in the two that I did.’ Alina Jeneta
‘Online safety is really important. I will never share my personal details with people that I don’t know’. Haris Ahmed
‘I understand how important it is to keepmy passwords safe. The best things for me was the poster competition, and reading the new books – they were really interesting.’ Vasile Osan
Each month, we will be holding Online Safety workshops for parents too! If you would like to attend, please contact Mrs Corder. If you are interested in becoming an Online Safety Ambassador or want to learn more about it, please contact Mrs Corder or Mrs Darcy.
If you have a problem online, or you are worried about a friend, you can talk to our Learning Mentors, who will be happy to help.
Online safety is our shared responsibility too. Knowledge and Understanding mean that we can enjoy being online, being in control, and of course staying safe!
