The Department for Education has awarded Putteridge High School £21million to rebuild and refurbish the school.
The Department for Education (DfE) has awarded Putteridge High School, which is part of the Chiltern Learning Trust, £21million to rebuild and refurbish the school. The funding will be used to create all new general and specialist teaching areas and a new sports block. David Graham, Headteacher at Putteridge High School, said: “We are thrilled that the DfE has awarded significant funding to the school. We are passionate about providing the best teaching and learning experiences for our staff and students. The new state of the art facilities will help us further improve the high-quality education experience we offer our community.”
Linslade smash their £1500 Children in Need day target
Linslade School smashed their £1500 Children in Need day target of £1500 by raising a total of £1562.19. They raised this money by their cake sale, bring and buy, rock concert, and mufti day.
CTG’s successful information evening
There was an excellent turnout at Challney High School Boys for the CTG information evening. Over 40 people interested in teacher training with this outstanding provider attended. CTG’s best recruitment tool was the use of InspireFM where Sufian participated in an interview about needing teachers.
