Inspiring Day at Wadham College
On Monday 17th June, fifteen year 10 students were invited to Wadham College, part of the University of Oxford.
After attending fascinating mini-lectures; one on using lasers in cell biology, the other on condensed matter physics, students were taken on a tour of Wadham College by friendly and knowledgeable 1st year student ambassadors.
After lunch, students visited the historic Museum of Natural History in Oxford where there were opportunities to handle real living (and very large!) insects.
"The taster sessions with a couple of professors had to be my favourite part, giving us an awareness to what's yet to come in the future. As a whole it was an eye opening experience as I was able to witness the actual reality of an Oxford University student. I would recommend this opportunity to everyone". Razwana Begum 107
